Ono
One of the largest, if not the largest, weapons that the ninja could use was the ono. The ono was a large battle axe that could be used to destroy parts of a castle, knock down doors, swing opponents off of horses, or slice clean through any armor that an enemy happened to be wearing. The ono was extremely heavy, being around four feet long with a very large steel blade. Because of its great weight, this weapon demanded incredible strength and skill from a ninja. These were mainly used in the battles between the samurai and the ninja, and they weren't often used in times of stealth.
